As I type, Gretchen is enjoying trying to swallow the lovely liquid breakfast you see above. She opted for the beef broth, as that is properly Paleo.
She is looking better than last night, which isn't saying much. My mom took excellent care of Gretchen last night, just like we all knew she would. Gretchen is sitting up and watching the team synchronized swimming competition on NBC.
Today's prayer requests:
Functioning parathyroids (calcium producers)
Decrease in G's pain levels
Complete healing of all nerves, muscles, tissue affected by surgery
Restful sleep
To any local Gretchen-lovers: As of right now, G is not accepting visitors. She is so appreciative of all your love, prayers and support and she would love to visit with you when she has a little more spunk back.
